Are you ready to rumble? Are you ready for some Dueling Divas? Fresco is very excited, as the event card is set. Eight singers - battling not only for art, entertainment, charity, bragging rights - but also a $250 purse! These chosen musicians are all championship caliber performers. It won’t be easy determining the winner in each of our 4 battles... Did we mention that you, the audience, will be voting on the winning performances? March 5th is the date. The Overture Center in beautiful downtown Madison is the place. Mark it on your calendar. Tickets will be going on sale in the coming weeks. We will let you know exactly when. We do expect this event to sell out, as there is limited seating. This is your opportunity to experience operatic music in a way you have never seen before. Through our events - Biggest Pipes, Most Heart Wrenching, Best High Note and Best Coloratura, the audience will be able to witness these singers perform at the highest level, in a condensed format. In other words, you won’t have to sit through 4 hours to hear the best parts. In fact, Dueling Divas will consist of nothing but “best parts.” This event is expected to run just under 2 hours, and within that time you will hear eight of the best singers the mid west has to offer. And, it’s a bargain, with ticket prices only around 20 bucks! Over the course of the next couple of weeks, we will be profiling each of our Dueling Divas (and Divo) so you can get a taste of what to expect at the Main Event.
